Pattern from Paton's Socks in the City booklet: Feather and Fan Socks. Short-row heel and star toe are from Sensational Knitted Socks book. After I knit the socks they reminded me of the colors in the Water Nymph windows at Victoria Baths! They were really fun to make with 7 different kinds of sock yarn! Even weaving in the ends was fun using Swiss darning.

Made with Schaefer Anne. Simply gorgeous yarn. 60% merino, 25% mohair, 15% nylon. One skein is enough to make a pair of socks with enough left over for several little projects such as this. Saartjeknits pattern.
