April Vacation: Cuff socks

Cuff socks, originally uploaded by Beatrixknits.

Made with Fortissima Socka Flamenco color and size US2 60sts CO. Pattern from Patons Next Step Four Socks and Slippers booklet. I didn't try to match the stripes. And good thing because the second ball of yarn had the colors in the reverse order anyway! Didn't have scissors or embroidery needle with me so entire sock is singular construction and toe is 3 needle bind off.

Cheese Tags

These are cheese tags I made for Thanksgiving appetizer plate. I was too cheap to spend $20 to buy porcelain ones at Sur La Table so my son said I should draw my own! (I like mine better!) We're having fig preserves with Brie and Gouda on whole grain crackers.
