Owl Baby Mittens
These are the UuuuHu! vottemønster pattern by Stinene. They are the softest, squishiest things I've ever made. The background yarn is Adriafil Genziana 100% Merino gorgeousness. The owl pattern is String Theory Caper Sock 80% Merino and 10% Cashmere, which I previously wasn't thrilled about (due to cost vs. number of breaks) but love it in these little gems. Please visit my etsy shop! www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits
Squiggly Baby Booties
These booties were made using a slightly modified version of my favourite pattern Multicolored Sockies by Maude Smith. The yarn is absolutely gorgeous Sport & Socks by Vimar 1991 s.r.l. Italy. I wish I bought a ton of it!!! Please visit my etsy shop! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits

Links Cowl
This chain scarf is based on the Marley's Ghost pattern from Knitty. I made a few mods tho. First of all I used US 11/8 mm circs, a single strand of Lion Brand Wool in Col. 149 Pearl Gray, and knit 25 stitches for 5 rows. The smaller Col. 140 Rose link is 3 rows of 20 stitches. I also did not full it like the pattern suggests. Please visit my etsy shop! www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits

Tourmaline Socks
This pattern is from the Journal 004, Angora Merino by Regia. It is pattern R0113 Socks With Cables. I used String Theory Caper Sock in Tourmaline. This yarn is beautiful. The colors are why I bought it. It is also super soft being a blend of merino, cashmere and nylon...BUT...it had way too many breaks (no less than 4) so is definitely not worth the price paid in my opinion.
Zigzag Poncho
This pattern is from the book Handknit Holidays by Melanie Falick. I substituted the yarn specified in the pattern with Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed in the colourways: Fisher, Berry, Honeycomb, Galway and Beach. It's a bit crazy on the pastel side but it will be super cozy in winter!

Golden Dahlia pattern from the book Joy of Sox. I did a long tail cast on with size US3 DPNs. Rest of sock made with US2 DPNs. Yarn is Adriafil Avantgarde. Pattern definitely looks like butterflies. It took me a long time to finish because I kept losing my place--each sock has its own special mistake ;-P Very light and lacy tho in this yarn.

This is my first crochet in the round project. Was a bit tricky to learn. 5th try lucky! Especially since I chose such fuzzy yarn. It was hard to see the stitches at first. BFL Aran Hat
Lion Brand Aran Hat pattern made with Rowan British Sheep Breeds DK Blueface Leicester and size 4mm US6 DPNs. I changed the top of the hat because I didn't like gathering up 40 stitches. Instead, I continued decreasing 16 sts every other round until only 8 remained and I ended up with a lovely flowery star surprise.
