These are the Cyber Flirt Socks designed by Mary McCall in the book The Joy of Sox by Linda Kopp. They were made with Malabrigo Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool, worsted weight, in Buscando azul color 186. This is extremely soft yarn..is like butter! It is lovely to work with. I'm intending these socks to be more like slippers since they're too thick to fit in shoes and pure merino might not be very durable. Made with US3/3.25mm needles and US9/5.5mm to bind off.

Field Poppy Pin
This poppy pin was made with sock yarn and size 2 needles according to the pattern found on the Lion Brand website cache.lionbrand.com/faq/498.html?www=1&language=
I added a safety pin to the back to make it wearable. The red sharpie pen is just there for scale and color.

Chick Flick Socks
These socks are made according to the Chick Flick pattern from Joy of Sox book. According to the author, the pattern is a lily flower. The yarn's color is called Logwood. It is a periwinkle blend. It is squishy Madelinetosh sock yarn. I would definitely buy this yarn again. It is lovely. I knit these socks according to the directions on size US2 needles. I added an additional 12 rows of the pattern on the foot before the toe for some extra room.

Summer Socks
Made with Plymouth Sockotta Bold Stripe Effect no. 5612. 76 sts CO size US1 DPNs. Short row heel and star toe from Sensational Knitted Socks book. The stripes are pretty but this isn't my favorite sock yarn. It is too stiff.
Needlepoint Scissor Case
Stitch and Zip Needlepoint Scissor Case. Kit number SZ 911 "Climbing Rose". I added the matching lining fabric myself. Scissors are from Knitpicks catalog.

Random Rainbow Trekking Socks
These socks were made using Trekking XXL sock yarn color 100. I usually like my socks to match...but it was impossible with this yarn! I do, however, like the way the colors change through the four plies creating unpredictable stripes. They have a 76 stitch CO picot edge, size US1/2.25mm DPNs, Welsh heels, and Star Toe of 4 points.
A Roll in the Hay Socks
These socks were made by following the pattern for "A Roll in the Hay" by Gina House from the book "The Joy of Sox" by Linda Kopp. I made them with Mini Mochi sock yarn color 104 Fern Rainbow. Although this yarn is ridiculously soft and squishy, I am not sure I would buy it again. There were too many breaks in the yarn to make matching socks.

EmbroideredPurse
EmbroideredPurse, originally uploaded by Beatrixknits.
This is a coin purse/credit card case I recently made from a Stitch&Zip pre-assembled needlepoint kit. SZ180 Black Butterfly. I decided to line it with matching fabric to give it a more finished look.

Water nymph window and socks!
Water nymph window, originally uploaded by Beatrixknits.
Pattern from Paton's Socks in the City booklet: Feather and Fan Socks. Short-row heel and star toe are from Sensational Knitted Socks book. After I knit the socks they reminded me of the colors in the Water Nymph windows at Victoria Baths! They were really fun to make with 7 different kinds of sock yarn! Even weaving in the ends was fun using Swiss darning.
