Snowboarding Hat

Robby saw a hat like this in his snowboarding magazine and asked me to make him one. Of course I said yes (even tho is awful!) since he was actually showing interest in my hobby! Pretty funny that the striped pom pom hat circa 1983 is back in style!

Welt Fantastic Socks

Here we are with the much improved remake of "Zig-zag socks...er slippers" pattern is "Welt Fantastic" from Sensational Knitted Socks book by Charlene Schurch. 66 sts with size 2 DPNs, Eye of Partridge heel and Star Toe of Three Points. Yarn is Froehlich Wolle Blauband Maxi Ringel comes with matching reinforcing thread for heel and toe. Am not ripping these out! I promise!

Collection of baby booties

All from Socks Socks Socks book pattern "Multicolored Sockies" made with cream and lavender colored Lion Brand Baby Soft with size 3, 2.5 and 2 needles with no modifications to pattern. Or as Robby says "for a fat two year old" down to "newborn." Personally I like the newborn size. I think they look like the best gauge for that yarn. Note: keeping lavender ones for myself, middle ones were given to baby born in November, started to grow out of them at 4 months, large ones given to 10lb baby born in March...I hope they fit! My mother said Robby's "fat two year old" comment is totally off.
