This chain scarf is based on the Marley's Ghost pattern from Knitty. I made a few mods tho. First of all I used US 11/8 mm circs, a single strand of Lion Brand Wool in Col. 149 Pearl Gray, and knit 25 stitches for 5 rows. The smaller Col. 140 Rose link is 3 rows of 20 stitches. The poppy kit was from The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady insert in The World of Cross Stitching magazine Issue 206. The frame was decoupaged from Deocpatch frame, papers and glossy glue.

From the book Around the World in Knitted Socks. Pattern by Stephanie van der Linden. Modified to make top down rather than toe up. Made with Lion Brand Sock-Ease in Marshmallow and Snow Cone and Red Heart Heart & Sole in Christmas (love that stuff!!!). Really fun pattern to follow.

These are the Lace / Ruffle Edge Socks by Patons from the Next Steps Four booklet made with Red Heart Heart & Sole sock yarn in the 3973 Christmas colorway. This is great yarn!

Tourmaline Socks

This pattern is from the Journal 004, Angora Merino by Regia. It is pattern R0113 Socks With Cables. I used String Theory Caper Sock in Tourmaline. This yarn is beautiful. The colors are why I bought it. It is also super soft being a blend of merino, cashmere and nylon...BUT...it had way too many breaks (no less than 4) so is definitely not worth the price paid in my opinion.

This pattern is from the book Handknit Holidays by Melanie Falick. I substituted the yarn specified in the pattern with Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed in the colourways: Fisher, Berry, Honeycomb, Galway and Beach. It's a bit crazy on the pastel side but it will be super cozy in winter!
