Fordham Socks

These socks were made using the "Comfy DK Socks" pattern by Handwerks. I used all left over sock yarn doubled up. I changed colors every other 10 rows. Yarns include: ShiBui Sock, Lorna's Laces, Berroco Sox Metallic, Madelinetosh, Knitpicks, Froehlich Woole, Schaefer Anne, Jaeger Matchmaker, and Koigu KPPPM!!! All the colors I used have shades of purple in them. I used 3.5mm/US4 DPNs with 48 sts CO. Socks are thick and squishy. I learned on second sock to weave in ends as I went along to save time.

I found this adorable pink Needlepoint Belt with black dogs at the LL Bean outlet. I've always wanted to make a needlepoint belt and doubt that I could find a kit this cute!

I love wearing clogs with my handmade socks. These clogs are Pewter Metallic from the Hanna Andersson catalog. The socks are Lotus Socks from Joy of Sox book made with Berroco Sox Metallic.

Cable Detail Socks

These are the Cable Detail Socks from Patons book "Socks in the City." They were made using US2/2.75mm DPNs and two balls of KnitPicks Stroll in Sprinkle Heather colorway. These socks were super fun to knit and the softness and beautiful color of the yarn exceeded my expectations.

Made with Knit Picks Imagination Hand-Painted Fingering Weight Gingerbread color. CO 76 sts with size US1/2.25mm DPNs. 7 Row picot cuff. Knit 69 rows before short row heel on 38 sts. Left 14 sts unwrapped. Knit 76 rows before star toe. Toe started on 4 sections of 19 sts each, decreasing every other row 8 times until 11 sts remained in each section. Then decreased every row until 8 sts remained.

Yarn is Online Supersocke Winter Color in "Flieder-rosa" Lilac-rose no. 884. Pattern is "Ridged Feather" from Sensational Knitted Socks book. CO 44 sts with size US3/3.25mm DPNs. Short row heel on 22 sts after 16 rpts of pattern. Left 8 sts unwrapped. 14 rpts of pattern before star toe. Toe started on 4 sections of 11 sts each, decreasing ever other row 8 times until 3 sts remained in each section. Then decreased every row until 8 sts remained.

Made with Dalegarn Baby Ull Color 0083 Charcoal Heather and size US2/2.75mm DPNs. All the fingers are 15 rows apart from middle which is 16. There are 21 rows until the thumb and 18 rows of cuff.

These socks are the Feather 'n Fan Socks from Patons Kroy Socks Socks in the City booklet. The heels are Short Row Heel and the toes are Star Toe from More Sensational Knitted Socks book. The yarn is Regia Design Line by Kaffe Fassett Landscape Canyon color 04352. 72sts CO with Addi 32" US1/2.5mm.

This is the Tympany hat pattern by Berroco. www.berroco.com/exclusives/tympany/tympany.html I made it with Koigu KPPPM color 428 and ShiBui Sock color 360 "Periwinkle" it is definitely periwinkle in person even tho it photographed more on the light blue side.

Best Pom Pom Ever!

This is the best pom pom I've ever made. I used the Clover 2.5 inch/65mm pom pom maker. It is just ridiculously squishy! Yarn is Koigu KPPPM color 428 (multi) and ShiBui Sock 360 (periwinkle).
