I knit this using the Soft Folds pattern by Amanda Jones from Issue 117 of Simply Knitting Magazine UK. I used Lion Brand Fishermen's 100% Wool with natural oils and Paton's Lace with acrylic, wool and mohair doubled up. It is so soft, squishy and warm! Sari Baby Socks
I made these socks with 9 different kinds of sock yarn in a moss stitch pattern. They remind me of recycled sari silk yarn--so rustic and colourful! Please visit my etsy shop! www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits
Light of Love Socks
These socks are made using Malabrigo Sock yarn and the Last of the Red Hot Lovers pattern from the Joy of Sox book. Not sure they are quite as brite as photo suggests ;-D Please visit my etsy shop! www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits
Regency Baby Set
The hat and booties are based on the pattern R0121 in the Regia Journal 004. I added a pompom because I just love making them! I also added lots of ribbon (which can be cut down to be more practical if necessary) because it is just so beautiful! I also made an extra pair of shoelaces since, again, not sure how practical ribbon actually is even tho it looks great! This mitten, bootie and bonnet set is newborn size and made from super soft Knitpicks Chroma. You'd never believe it is mostly wool since it is so silky soft! Fingerless Mitts
I made these lacy fingerless mitts to match a poncho I made ages ago! The pattern is from Australian Creative Knitting Magazine Issue 17. The yarn is Lion Brand Kool Wool in 149 Dark Charcoal Grey--sadly discontinued. Luckily I think I have enough to make a couple more pairs! Aran Pullover
This is the Aran Pullover from the book Knitting for Baby by Melanie Falick. It is made with Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed in the 800 Fisher colour. Size made is 3 months. This is great yarn with little specks of red and yellow in it. The shoulders are finished off with 4 light blue buttons. Please visit my etsy shop! www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits
Owl Baby Mittens
These are the UuuuHu! vottemønster pattern by Stinene. They are the softest, squishiest things I've ever made. The background yarn is Adriafil Genziana 100% Merino gorgeousness. The owl pattern is String Theory Caper Sock 80% Merino and 10% Cashmere, which I previously wasn't thrilled about (due to cost vs. number of breaks) but love it in these little gems. Squiggly Baby Booties
These booties were made using a slightly modified version of my favourite pattern Multicolored Sockies by Maude Smith. The yarn is absolutely gorgeous Sport & Socks by Vimar 1991 s.r.l. Italy. I wish I bought a ton of it!!! Please visit my etsy shop! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits
Galapagos Newborn Hat
This hat was made using Nana's Newborn Knitted Hat pattern by Catherine Basten and Knitpicks Chroma Fingering yarn in the Galapagos color. I made it to match the Satin Bow Baby Shoes I made in October! Please visit my etsy shop! www.etsy.com/shop/Beatrixknits
